Theme: Dragons!​ We're looking for YA fantasy full of action, adventure, and even a little spook. This book is dedicated to Ephriam, Brooke J. Katz's son who is battling cancer. (He likes Five Nights at Freddies, Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, and Eragon.) We're looking for less sweet and cute stories and more gritty, good versus evil, and stories teen boys would love.

Genre: YA fantasy (let's keep main characters between 13 and 18)

Book Title: Not yet announced​​

Payment: 85% of royalties will go to help Ephriam fight cancer.

Word Count: Between 1,000 and 10,000 

​

​Due Date: November 30th, 2024, midnight in your own time zone

​​

You can submit as many stories as you like.

No swearing permitted

Acceptances will be sent out throughout November as we get stories we want, due to the limited time we have.

Developmental edits given by: December 5th (to be given as stories are accepted)

Implemented by: end of December

Line and copy edits given by: January 15th

Implemented by: February 15th

Formatting totally done by: March 5th

Publishes: end of March
