Project Red

Theme: Fantasy Little Red Riding Hood retellings! They can either be very clear retellings, or simply inspired by the classic tale. We are looking for poetry and novelettes.

Anthology Publishes: TBD, sometime in 2026

Genre: Fantasy with any subgenre, such as fantasy sci fi, dark fantasy, contemporary fantasy, paranormal fantasy, and so on. (Erotica/smut will not be accepted)

Reader Age Range: Young Adult - Adult (geared toward adult readers but appropriate for upper YA readers.)

Payment: Authors will share a % of royalties. Poets will get $5.

​

Length: Poetry can be any length under 1,000.  Stories must be between 10k-15k (anything higher, we may consider but it will lower your chance of getting in). We will only be accepting about 60k words for this book. 

​

Due Date: December 31, 2024, midnight in your own time zone

​

May not be previously published. We will hold exclusive rights up to one year after publication.
